The British School Kathmandu (TBS) is looking to recruit dynamic, creative, and caring staff members for the following roles who are committed to the pursuit of excellence, for our exciting and unique school for the academic year 2020/21 and 2021/22. - Chinese Teacher
- Modern Foreign Language Teacher (Head of Department)
- Media Studies Teacher
- Secondary Mathematics Teacher
- Primary Teacher (Part-Time)
- Qualification and Experience
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from a reputable University (BA Hons preferred). All applicants must have a recognized teaching qualification, preferably 'Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) obtained from the UK. All applicants must be suitably qualified, preferably with two years of teaching experience within a British Curriculum context.
- Teacher with the capability and preferably, experience in delivering the Cambridge 1GCSE/AS/A Level Curriculum in creative and innovative ways
- Job Titles Qualification and Experience:
- Music Specialist - Piano
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- A teaching qualification and recent music teaching experience.
- Experience of working within a successful school.
- Secondary EAL Learning Support
- Bachelor's Degree in the relevant area Recognisable teaching qualification TESL /TEFL / CELTA (or relevant) certified.
- Minimum two years of experience in a similar role.
- Classroom Learning Support
- Bachelor's Degree in the relevant area Recognisable teaching qualification
- Minimum two years of experience in a similar role.
- Guard Supervisor
- Minimum of a High School Degree. All applicants must be able to read and write English. Prior training in managing the security team and their roster is desirable.
- Candidate with the capacity and experience to lead the team of security and manage their roster. Minimum two years of experience in a similar role. Prior experience in INGOs, Embassies, etc is desirable.
- Security Guard
- Minimum of a High School Degree. All applicants must be able to read and write English. Prior training in security is desirable.
- Candidate with a minimum of 5 years experience in working in a similar position.
- Prior experience in ING0s, Embassies, etc is desirable.
- School Nurse
- BSc Nursing with 2 years and above experience PCL Nursing with more than 5 years of experience working in the Medical field Registered Nurse in Nepal Nursing Council
- Minimum 2 years of experience in practicing medicine (preferably in School/ Education Institution)
